 Name: Shannon Kerr Varsity would like to congratulate Shannon Kerr on making the Under 20 Canadian National Lacrosse Team!!
A native of Inglewood Ontario, Shannon is currently in grade 11 attending Mayfield Secondary School, and hopes one day to receive a lacrosse scholarship.
Born on February 20 1990, Shannon has been training at Varsity since the summer of 2006, and attributes a lot of her success to all the hard hours she has put in at Varsity Training Centre.
“Training with Varsity helped me become the best conditioned lacrosse player I needed to be in order to make Team Canada.”
Shannon recently attending Team Canada’s training camp in Australia over the Christmas break. She played teams from all over the world and did very well and even manage to score a couple goals along the way.
Shannon plans on continuing her training at Varsity and knows how important it is to her success and progress to become the best lacrosse player she can be. “I still train with Varsity because I know as long as I’m putting my time in the gym I will continue getting faster, stronger, and become a better lacrosse player.”
